A few minutes before i arrived in Tammisaari (todays goal), i passed those kids selling pastry and bread besides the street.
Having eaten just a sandwich for lunch and a chocolate bar for staying happy, i couldn't resist and filled my bag with some delicious pastry.

The kings road is really breathtaking. Mostly because of the scenery...but to some small part also due to the numerous up's and down's.
Still...absolutely worth the effort.

From Helsinki to Turku leads a part of an old route called kings road. Seemed to be a popular route for plunderings during the old times (according to what i read).
Hopefully they also enjoyed the landscape as much as i did. =o)

I like Finnish trains..they're comfortable and there is free internet. Yay!

...okay i didn't find room for my bicycle so i stood/sat in the corridor besides the bike...but still.

Back in Helsinki i could pass another night ak Katri & Lauri's place. Super cozy bed, nice food and interesting company. Totally grateful for the offered hospitality. Thanks!

Passed two beautiful days in Tampere at Tuomas and Riina's place.
Met nice people, went in for decent food, enjoyed a public sauna at the lakeside and saw a lot of downtown Tampere.
My hosts truly made it a splendid stay.
