| My stay in Warsaw is over. Alas! What remains is a bucketload full of precious memories. Martyna (the cheeky one in the photo) & Basia (not in the photo...) hosted me like one of their own kin.
Got to know many nice places, danced in decent clubs, played tennis, bowling, billard, had the chance to join a Polish 'family-party', ate like a king again (by the amount as well as the quality) and could enjoy many more things. Thank you all for treating me with such a kindness. You're truly great! |

| Apart from being hosted like a king here in Warsaw, i even have the chance to disturb the quietude of the neighbourhood. =o)
While tuning the guitar, the 'holder' of a string (those coloured little thingies) broke in two and we had to find a workaround. |

| Today i encountered perfect cycling conditions.
Not too hot nor too cold, dry, the wind mostly in the back...and perfect gear. Now i'm taking some days off to recover (yeah i know..i already took a break just a few days ago) and plan my further route. @Keepy: Again a bit of promotion...despite i'm still not 'out in nowhere' |

| Agroturystyka is kind of a Polish version of b&b's.
They're really hard to find though, because there are usually no signs (on the fence or the house for example) leading to them. The only way i know is over internet. ...and therefore i should be able to make phonecalls in Polish to see if they've got a free bed. My dear friend Robert from Cracow offered me to look for one and made a reservation within the hour (during the past afternoon, after my change of plans). The hospitality there was unbelievable. I could wash/fix my bicycle, the host-mother prepared an extra dinner (delicious Polish food) especially for me. The room was more than confortable and i even got a sightseeing-tour with one of the hosts youngsters. ..honestly brilliant ending for such a day. |
