proper tracks...finally

Today went pretty smooth. Well, some parts were 'adventurous' again but all in all, nice day.

quiet night

Passed a quiet night on a private fishing beach where - usually - common camping would be prohibited.
Thanks to a 'neighbour', the controllers let me stay for the night.

Czech cycle-tracks take you everywhere..

I've been cycling through forests, open fields, lonely pathways, multi-lane highways today.
The state of the tracks differ even more.
I could enjoy everything, from plain, proper streets over ankle-deep pits, fist-big gravel, cobblestones, mud, dirt to dusty paths between empty fields.

Thanks god for elevators

The hostel in Brno (Hostel Jacob - absolutely great stay, by the way) was situated in the 5th floor. I was quite happy as i managed to put my bicycle into this small elevator indeed.

short trip

..well..this morning wasn't all too easy. Felt my knees from yesterday..pretty bad. Nice thing though, the keeper of the 'pension' i slept in yesterday served me a coffee and a huge cake-piece for free.
Another good thing regarding my knees, todays trip was not too long so it went pretty well.
But i won't complain, the landscape is beautiful and the people - so far - are really hearty.
