Danmark seems to me like a collection of islands. Therefore also tons of bridges and - ferries.
One of these brought me - for a little fee - from Bogø to Stubbekøbing.

If i'd had to paint a typical Danish town, it most probably look like this. Well..a bit less realistic i think but yeah. Lots of small houses with these Scandinavian colors and white frames.

It's been some days since i've sat in the saddle last time. That was up in Sweden and Norway arrived.
Down here in Denmark the summer has definitly arrived. The cornfields shine golden and the beaches look more tempting than ever...no wonder with temperatures at around 30 degrees.

During my stay in Copenhagen, i could stay at AnneMarie and Peter's house a bit outside of the center.
A nice little house with a dreamlike garden invited to rest and let the spirits flow. But it gets even better. Everyday i could eat at their table. Food with ingredients from their own garden. Heavenly! No need to visit noma therefore. =o)
The picture above was shot on a short trip to the harbour of Dragør one evening.

Copenhagen itself is a marvellous city. A big old town with plenty of beautiful buildings. But it gets even better when you leave the 'touristy' city center. Apart from the infamous Christiania there is a district called Nørrebro with numerous little shops reaching from foreign food markets over hip clothing stores to cafés serving top-notch quality coffee.

The most amazing thing for me although is the sheer amount of cyclists here. It's just insane.
